CRISIS POINT VI - Andreivia (Dawn of Freedom)

Friday 8th April dawned and it was time to load the car and head over the Peak District to the wonderful village of Dungworth for the annual Crisis Point event. Now in it's sixth year, this event gets better and better and is a highlight of the wargaming year. Hosted by the Oracle of Andreivia himself, Mr Richard Crawley, the event is held at the Bradfield Dungworth Primary School and attracts players from far afield.

This year the games were set in the fictional Black Sea country of Andreivia in 1918, the First World War is over but in Andreivia war lingers!

So after a great drive over with superb views over the Peaks and The Furrow Collective playing on Spotify, I arrived for set up. Andy C and Ian S were delayed by traffic problems so Richard C and myself set up as much as we could before their arrival. Once Andy C and Ian S had arrived we finished the set up and the tables looked great. All ready for battle to commence in the morning as the other players gathered.

Table One - The Black Sea Coast (North of Tcherbevan)

Table Two - The Caucasus Front

Table Three - The Tuzkhur Valley

Table Four - Tcherbevan (Capital of Andreivia)

As well as the four tables set for Arc of Fire, Jamie C also had a Pulp Alley game set in the Andreivian Museum of Antiquities.

So the tables are set and it was time to retire to the local hostelry for pie and beer!

Stay tuned for Part Two as Andreivians, Turkish, British, German and Russian forces decide the fate of Andreivia and we find out what this lot are up to :-)

And this!

As always thanks for looking :-)
